Background
A growing foodtech company faced challenges in managing food inventory across multiple restaurant locations. Manual tracking systems resulted in overstocking, spoilage, and increased operational costs. The project focused on digitizing inventory management to streamline workflows and minimize food waste.
Market Insights & Brand Positioning
User research showed that staff often found existing tools too complex or disconnected from real kitchen workflows. Interviews with chefs, managers, and procurement teams emphasized the need for real-time inventory visibility and intuitive usage. The new brand was positioned around operational clarity, waste reduction, and smart automation, targeting restaurants and cloud kitchens.
Brand Refresh & Web Experience Update
The previous design lacked cohesion and usability. A full refresh was executed with a modern visual identity, bold yet clean typography, and iconography that emphasized clarity. The mobile app was restructured with a user-first layout, smart alerts for expiring stock, and seamless syncing with supplier systems.
